Misty Raine hails from the community of Nadleh Whut’en, a place known for its rich musical culture. Her roots are deeply embedded in this community, where singing and drumming are not just traditions but a way of life. Misty's work draws inspiration from her own life experiences as an Indigenous person navigating a world fraught with challenges. Her music serves as a powerful medium to document these experiences, addressing themes such as trauma, loss, addiction, cultural identity, and spirituality. Her creative process begins with an emotional soundscape in her mind, often somber or melancholic. She translates these emotions into chords on her guitar or piano. The lyrics flow naturally, often portraying her life's stories without embellishments. Each song is like a puzzle, with each piece placed to convey the intended mood and message.

Trevor Ketlo
Guitar and Co - Founder
Dakelh and Cree from Nadleh Whuten. Trevor is the Co-founding member of the Misty Raine band.
Trevor has been surrounded by music throughout his life. His passion for guitar began at the age of 15, setting him on a musical path that would eventually lead him to being the first member of Misty's band.
Drawing inspiration from legendary metal bands such as Metallica, Trivium, Megadeth, and Bullet for My Valentine, Trevor brings a heavy sound and guitar style to the band.
As a founding member, Trevor continues to play an important role in developing the band's music and identity, bringing his creativity, passion, and love for heavy music to every performance and song writing sesh.
